I love Miami. I am proud to say that I moved here from another state (Maryland), kept the same full-time job, GRADUATED from college and didn’t develop a drug habit while absorbing all of the awesome things this magic city has to offer me. Aside from the “normal” Miami stuff- the super-clubs, Wet Willies, etc- 2dopebitches.com always appreciates a good house party (as you may know according to THIS and THIS)
I went to a birthday party this Saturday for my AWESOME coworker Cynthia- well for her boyfriend’s birthday-and met lots of attractive and interesting Miami-ans. Also, I was introduced to the YouTube sensation “Haitian ShamWOW” and my homeboy’s “Drake Hands” impersonation. Too hilarious. My girl Nelly and eventually I ended up at Bar (28 NE 14th St) the best “local, hole-in-the-wall” bar in downtown to wind down the night. Please enjoy the few pictures I was able to snap.

Friday night was date night for me and the boo – we went to Lincoln Road to watch INCEPTION – which I must add is a TERRIFIC MOVIE ! A total mind freak if I should say ! Leonardo Dicaprio is really doing good for himself these days with movies like Shutter Island and Inception , he’s just tryna confuse the hell outta you !
The movie was incredibly deep and complex . I give a big high-five to the writer of this fabulous film for this creativity in the storyline of this film. How they even began to think of this storyline —– mind-blowing . definitely lived up to its hype and I think everyone should watch it … if you can keep up !! GREAT MOVIE !!
Then we retired to the streets of South Beach to catch some cheap drinks and nasty chicken fingers at Wet Willes. I think that might be the last time I go there PERIOD. Its kinda corny and the crowd is not my type , I just like the cheap sushies !! Anyways it was great and me and my boo got super sleep at the end of the night it was weird it just creeped up on us !

This Friday , I decided to try something different. Me , Tiffany , Rich , and Harold again took to the streets of South Beach and did ranDUMB things. The plan was to attend a Miami New Times x Sparks Promotional party at The National Hotel . But we ended up being WAY TOO fashionably late. And the drink Sparks is apparently some malt liquor energy drink , which i do not favor. I am extremely picky with my drink choices. Next stop , cheap “shushies” at Wet Willies. Such a tourist move I know but sometimes you gotta live your life like if you were on vaycay.
After some Superman’s and a couple of munchies , we headed over to the Gansevoort Miami Beach to Louis Bar and Lounge , which is more club then lounge but whatever. I like that place , I went there to see Kid Sister performance once and the layout and hipsters are actually dope enough to be there all night LOL. Music was dope but living and partying in Miami has its reality check. We all have work and things to do in the AM and headed home.
Overall , another dope night of just chillin , drinkin , and taxi ride taking. Sheesh .
