Ever watched Rob Dydeck’s Fantasy Factory? The opening credits features some pretty visually stunning effects like his head exploding and turning into Rob with arms wide with his dog Meaty sitting on his shoulders then switching to Rob skate boarding down a sidewalk and into the mouth of a lion THENN the lion is located on his scooter which is is riding located on an elevated platform …. and I can go on and go on. Point is the transformations and visual effects going on are bananas. This is the work of LA -Based visual arts studio , SYNDROME STUDIOS has been in action for almost ten years and they have shown us the limitless possibilities of live-action directing – a great alternative to the boring non-relative music videos of today.
I first came across one of their videos while watching “Chopped and Screwed” with T-Pain and Ludacris. The song is pretty good but the video is amazing and its incredible to think how it was directed and literally put together entirely though green screen and computer design. I personally love music videos and how they represent a song and bring it (or in many cases don’t) to life.
Am I the only one who would listen to videos and visually make their own music videos? Well even I couldn’t think up of what the geniuses at Syndrome Studios create. Check out a few videos and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Enjoy.
