Shouts to Eric for the dope Champion shorts, easy to see we’re in love. Miami shit.
A couple months back your favorite dope bitches took part in a photo shoot in Miami’s Design District for Wordintown.com. It was a super hot day and the SPF was definitely on deck and we posed in the sun. We were styled by the talented Andrea who used her own accessories with our wardrobe and handmade jewelry for a couple dope looks. After much deliberating and a written interview, here is the final product! We are really happy with the way the photos came out- the distinctive Miami backdrop really set things off. The interview gives some insight into who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going. Check it out ! Thanks to Jose at Wordintown and Dro of The305.com !!

There’s also nothing like a beautiful fishtail braid. This one below is from my beautiful friend and inspiration Samantha Jo Alanso from FRUITION LV / UNKNWN. Shes been growing her long beautiful hair for years and I can wait to get it THIS LONG. Along with her natural sense of style, she’s just all around awesome.

Swag master Mr. ASAP Rocky rocks classic french braids along with his gold grill and gold chain. Bringing back classic hood-ness and making it cool again I kinda am feelin’ it on some guys. By the way I just watched “Peso” again and JUST noticed that the dopest lady DJ right now DJ Venus X is in the vid. Check her out in some plait braids as well for the Miska Lookbook 2012. Swag.

LASTLY, but certainly not least is myself. I woke up my mother at 6:30 A.M. this morning just to make her do my braids before school. And by school I mean COLLEGE. So I got my little french braid in by my beautiful Nica mother. She said when I was younger I hated her doing them to me, well things change. I love when she does this now. I feel so West coast chula cool girl.

Ballons, Ray-Ban Replica’s and all. They had great 80′s music playing all night and we’re talkin Tears for Fear and all the goodies , near the end they even brough it back to 2011 and played some hip-hop and our boys taugh us how to dougie. Anyways heres a few flicks from the night. Why werent you there? Who knows. But Youve got to join our movement cause we love to entertain. Enjoy !

Relaxing Photo I took in Japan in my travels
Its late night on a Sunday. Tomorrow is the horrid Monday to start and kick off my week. I’ve got an essay due Thursday , a presentation the same day , meetings on Tuesday, article due Tuesday …. Where do I even start?
Its been six months since a major change in my life. I had a major accident which was completely my irresponsibility. The accident landed me without a car and completely drained of confidence. The worst mistake is realising the mistake was completely 10000% your fault. Your choices , your decisions , and your consciences. Life moves on and since then I’ve grown my blog into be what it is today as well as learned the value of transportation among MANY other life changes and revelations.
Family is so important. No matter who , what , when , where – my family has been there for me. Long after the “best friends” and the “boyfriends” come and go , family will stay by your side. If it wasnt for the efforts of my family I wouldn’t even have a ride to school or work. They keep me together.
I’ve been frantically looking for a used car to buy to gain back that part of me I lost 6 months ago. Its been tough finding something that I feel I deserve but that my budget doesn’t agree on. So with another car search weekend past me I still search for the perfect vehicle for me.
Among dealing with my own inner turmoils, the ups and downs of a relationship , friend drama , school pressures , and family issues – Im pooped out !
This car means so much more to me then simply “transportation”. Its my life handed back to me in my very hands. My choices when to go home , my choices when to leave a party , my choice to go out , my choice to get to school , my choice to get another job , my choice to drive to an internship.
My choice. My life . My decisions , the good ones and the stupid ones – back in MY hands.
So I leave you this Sunday night with a song that empowers me and lifts me.

The recent earthquake in Japan has put one of the worlds leading super powers front and center to all the globe as the country struggles to control the after effects following the natural disaster. Footage is flooding the internet with home videos , surveillance cameras , and news report all showcasing footage of the earthquakes devastation from all angles. Reports of nuclear danger now are rising as one of the world oldest powerplants were effected and even another earthquake set to hit the region. This is devastating.
What is the most crippling for me is to see a nation I personally look up to coping with this kind of national emergency. In the Fall of 2009 I spent 3 months in Tokyo , Japan as part of a study abroad experience. Living on my own in the area of Ikebukuro , I attended school to learn Japanese. It was one of the most rewarding and solitary experiences I’ve had in my life and since then the Japanese culture has had a very special place in my heart. The people, the country , the movement and advancement of the society, they all go though my mind when I think of this beautiful country. I can only imagine the type of state the nation is now with warnings and evacuations taking place near the city of Tokyo.
Not only did the country suffer an almost unheard of 8.9 magnitude earthquake in the northern region of Japan but the shift of the Earths plate which took place off the coast of Japan sent the ocean waters waves on a crash course with surrounding countries. Tsunamis hit the surrounding regions of the country with waves even felt in California , with their highest measurement being 8.1 feet at Crescent City, California. The death toll is not exact with the country still in un-rest but its estimated by the Kyoto New Agency in Japan reporting that the death toll would surpass 1,000.

All of the worlds eyes now lay on Japan and I myself am worried about what this earthquake, which is one of the biggest earthquakes in history , could mean for the rest of the world. Should we be worried as a global community into what our Earth is telling us ? I’m scared. I’m worried. And I’m concerned to see how this real life drama plays out as the aid of billions of people pours out to our neighbors in the East.
The footage makes me absolutely speechless. Check out Gizmodo.com for extensive coverage and interesting articles on the disaster.

This past Friday, the beautiful ladies Norma, Nelly and I hit the club LUX in South Beach for some good old fashioned clubbing- complete with VIP and free drinks and such… It was a pretty good night, the music was on point. Actually the chill music they play before the club gets too crazy is really so great.
I ran into my 1st cousin Kenny Burns and had to take a picture since i probably won’t see him again for years (I always complain about having two last names- Butler-Burns- but I prefer the Butler alone, no offense Dad but some of the Burns people are not very family oriented unfortunately…)
anyWHO- Lil Wayne was in the building, supporting his Young Money artists Shanelle along side Mack Main and friends. The night was overall pretty dope.

We over here at 2dopebitches.com like to keep the spontaneity abundant in our lives and this past All Hallow’s Eve aka the night before Halloween was no exception. We ended up at a costume party hosted by Ciroc at a beautiful multi-story loft in a suprisingly chill area of South Beach.
We had the pleasure of chilling at this mini-mansion a few weeks before so we got the full tour of all the great rooms and views before they got roped off and let me tell you, if those wall could talk! They’d have enough juicy-ness to fill up a Star magazine.
Anyways, Norma, Horatio and I had a blast- I did the Wop due to my 1980′s ensemble- and we definitely partook of the abundant supply of Ciroc and Nuvo. Norma was an Indian, Horatio was pretty much himself and also Kanye West and I was just kickin’ it old school in my Jordan 4′s and a retro Jordan jacket n bike shorts
Cabbage Patch to the next page for the madness….
Finally uploading my Blackberry pictures to my camera….. i realized , no matter how hard i try to deny it – i like to party lol. It’s the atmosphere of being with the funnest people dancing to the dopest music that’s like …. SO DOPE.
Other then partying – I just love to enjoy my time with my best friends. I really have so much fun and forget about the worries of the day. I do alot of random things – bars , clubs , events , and just plain chillin.
Something about being surrounded by the people you love doing extremely fun things. Its un-describable. We only live once and we should enjoy it anytime we can . I sometimes lose sight of whats important. MYSELF. I get caught up in my social life or focusing and worrying about controlling everything around me . But that’s life , you cant control everything . Everything can go right every day. Sometimes things need to go wrong so you can learn an alternate route and then LEARN SOMETHING. I have had a lot of horrible experience but then Ive had extraordinary experiences. NEVER – doubt yourself. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. and Ive experienced it first hand . With my friends and family around me Ive achieved a great deal.
Below are a few random pictures of my best times with the best people . I have such a great tea, of friends , we get together and have fun always. I’m so thankful for them. These are the people who make my day so much better . From the worst experiences to the best times. Me and my homies have always been together. Thanks . Anyways enjoy these random moments .
(not feeling to talkative , im tired ) lol

FOR THE SAKE OF HIS BIRTHDAY I HAVE PUT MYSELF IN THE EYE OF EMBARRASSMENT
Yeah – I was a chonga – and all chongas from the 2000′s know that a full knowledge of Tupac discography is essential to your chonga-ness.
Today is Tupac Amaru Shakur birthday – born in 1971 – Tupac would have been 39 years old today. Theres always the debate whether “Tupac of Biggie” , and I respect them both but MY shit … is Tupac . I grew up in my wanna be ghetto hood with his music and its straight gangster.

I also love the soft side of him – the Tupac who wrote poems and actually went to school . He was a very intelligent man and he knew what he was doing.
Below are some pix and videos of my favorite Tupac moments. Enjoy.
TROUBLESOME! I remember skipping school in *8th grade and this one kid used to bring a boombox to school and he was blasting this song through an apartment complex we were skipping in … Defining moment lol
