Thought I’d share some of my favorite looks from Dimepiece Designs lately with our readers. I’m infatuated with women’s street-wear and the evolution of what its become throughout the years. It’s less street-wear and more high-fashion ‘comfy’ oriented, if that make any sense. The amazing women over at Dimepiece Designs have been creating unique and forward-thinking pieces since 2007, and I’ve been a fan since high school. Their lookbooks are great style guides and always give me great ideas on how to dress even without Dimepiece on. This Los Angeles based brand created by Ashley Jones and Laura Fama screams Downtown-Los-Angeles-thrift-girl-who-effortlessly-looks-amazing. It’s everything you wish you could pull off. Sports-bras with mesh tops and cut off hoodies with pointed high-heel boots. I love all their new looks and I literally cannot choose which one I love more. Their new sports-bra tops are f*cking dope, especially with their geometrical neon back design. The “OH SHIT!” all over print top and leggings are dope as f*ck too. This whole collection screams Norma. Also, they have a great variety of new accessories including this very handy neon duffle bag and great graphic phone cases which feature Aaliyah and Tupac in all their glory. Can’t wait for their 2013 Womenhood collection coming soon.
This past Friday August 24th, your favorite 2 dope bitches gave away a couple of free tickets to the Miami leg of the Sneaker Pimps tour. It just so happens to be the 10th ANNIVERSARY of the legendary Sneaker exhibit! The whole night was dope – there were many tables full Miami’s bright up and comers in the urban fashion world- 8&9, Mahvee, Deadstock ave, Gullysteeze, Yeah Boy and more where in full effect with their best pieces laid out. The sneakers were of course on point, most heat being the shoes on people’s feet rather than the tables. Honey Cocaine, like us, is an avid Jordan fan and wore not one but two pairs of Jays that night. Ace Hood had on some Jays as well, I just wish Iggy wore some sneakers on too..
There was live art, FREE HEINEKEN, and DJ ‘sFly Guy and Oh So along with host Dave Jeff who were keeping everyone entertained with nostalgic and new Hip Hop and hilarious commentary.
Honey Cocaine, along with Ace Hood and Iggy Azalea ripped the stage and asking for a couple bad bitches to come on stage proceeded to pick a gaggle of girls , and a few guys as well, on stage for a dance party while she belted out the last few songs of her set.
We got a ridiculous amount of dope shots!
Peep the photo gallery of the photos we got of the crowd, the clothes, the art and of course the performers !
Shout out to Peter from Sneaker Pimps for the opportunity to cover the event as well as Safe Statick, DJ Dave Jeff, DJ Carisma, and everyone else who came out and to all the wonderful people we met that night!

On a very sunny and hot Saturday in Miami, I along with over 40 fitness enthusiasts joined celebrity trainer and extra dope chick, Jackie Warner on an hour-long cardio intensive workout on South Beach, did I say it was extremely scorching hot?

In partner ship with all-natural and all-perfectly pure Evian water, Jackie proceeded to beat our behinds and motivate us to the near point of exhaustion and luckily Evian was there on hand to keep us all hydrated. The workout took place at the beautiful Raleigh hotel located on South Beach as part of her three-city tour (New York, Los Angeles, Miami) to promote healthy and hydrated living with Evian. Located literally poolside, it was so refreshing and inspirational to see all kinds of people come together to workout. Any kind of exercise can be a big hurdle for some (including me!). It’s hard to stay motivated and even harder to be consistent when it comes to physical exercise, but Jackie’s encouraging words during the session made me think differently about fitness and how important it really is for all of us.

We did crunches, lunges, jumps, and tension band exercises ; proving that you can really get an intense workout without the help of a machine. When I say intense, I mean INTENSE but in a good way! Whenever I felt like giving up, Jackie would always know what to say to get me right back in the game; “I’m not doing something to you, I’m doing something for you.” Another thing I noticed was that there were several body types in attendance. From athletic and fit to novices among ordinary people who just honesty wanted to get fit. It really was about all different types of people striving to become fit together under Jackie’s wing with an urge to get our blood pumping for ourselves!

And pumping it did. No lie, I was sore for at least 2 days after this work out. If I didn’t have Evian at hand I probably would have passed out because the Florida sun was not playing that day! The Evian team was extremely helpful and cheerful. We also got these cute Evian goody bags filled with tension bands, headbands, cute body baby printed tees (Get it, Live YOUNG?), and healthy snacks. After the cardio session, Jackie had a short Q&A session with our group where she told us great healthy snacks and even shared that it its alright to have cheat meals as long as you stay on track with your daily fitness. Then, the group was treated to a healthy and delicious breakfast buffet which featured oatmeal, fruits, nuts, and other goodies.
It was honestly a very accomlplsihing day and a motivating experience. I want to thank everyone at Evian including Jodie and Anais plus the others who helped organize the event. Thanks again Jackie! You rule! Sigh, Amazing day.
Check out photos from the from the event below with a few personal ones mixed in there. Make sure to stay in tune with Evian and Jackie Warner below!

“Listen to a song by Pharrell Williams and try to put it into only one category. Impossible, considering the producer and performer mixes sounds and genres effortlessly, right? So it’s no surprise that when he created a liqueur, he also made sure it would cross boundaries. Available in strawberry or peach, this first-of-its-kind liqueur (12.5 ABV) can be served on the rocks, chilled in a martini glass or deliciously baked into cupcakes, pastries and more. The choices are endless…and all delicious.”
Pharrell is quite the entrepreneur , so when I saw on the BBC/ICE CREAM BLOG that Skateboard P had created his own liq company , QREAM LIQUEUR , I knew it would be magic! Dubbed the “first of its kind” , this sweet creamy liq promises to impress the ladies as its marketed primary to women. I’m telling you right now, this looks delissh! It comes in two flavors – strawberry and peach, which I would probably imagine has the consistancy of eggnog. The liqueur also boasts that it has fewer calories then red wine , but I didn’t mind about the calories anyways :p . Pharrell already tweeted via his new personal new twitter @4real4rell that its sold out in stores already ?! Literally I get paid Friday and I am going to go to my nearest liq store in the radius and copping this drank for Friday/Saturday night. It looks so yummy and might I add this bottle is exquisite?!
He recently threw a launch party in Los Angeles in which many beautiful people sipped on the Qream-y liqueur while enjoying the sounds of Robin Thicke live . Guests included Lauren London , Rob Kardashian , Venus and Serena Williams , and Eva Marcille. Check out the interview below where dreamy Pharrell explains his new liqueur line and looks beautiful every second of it . I’m not even listening to what hes saying just starring into his glittery eyes…..

Tupac Amaru Shakur was born June 16, 1971. Also known as Pac / 2PAC / MACAVELI, this man has left a monumental legacy in the world of Hip-Hop music. Killed in 1996 amidst a feud of East vs. West coast, after his death Pac continued to release studio albums of unreleased material and is admired today.
He would have been 40 today, a lost rapper who has given the world of music an interesting character to look back on and remember. Think about it like this, Jay – Z is 41, he came up around the time of Tupac and Biggie- would Tupac have been at the same stature that Jay-Z is today? Or would he have been a Snoop Dogg (kind of out of the spotlight)? Everyone always asks “Biggie or Pac?” – Well my answer was always Tupac. I loved Tupac’s music as a young teenager – when I didn’t know what “I Get Around” even meant, I was listening to Tupac. That was my nigga!
Call me chonga , ghetto , hoodrat – but I loved Tupac , made the best Tupac mixed CDs (which all the guys were impressed by), and rode in my mother’s car forcing her to hear my “negrita” and play “Picture Me Rollin” or “Looking though My Rearview”. I had a whole CD case with just my Tupac CDs (which were all burned , sorry couldn’t support money wise I was 15 I need that for lunch) – and I enjoyed listening to them and recalling all the lyrics.
Surprisingly yesterday, the world received a development on the cause and possible investigation of his death in 1996. Read below:
A prisoner has supposedly confessed to being involved in the 1994 robbery of Tupac Shakur, in a statement posted online Wednesday, the eve of what would have been the rapper’s 40th birthday.
In a confession posted on AllHipHop.com, Dexter Isaac, who is serving a life sentence on unrelated charges, said he was paid $2,500 by James Rosemond to rob the rapper outside Quad Studio in New York. Shakur was shot during the robbery, but Isaac does not identify the shooter in the statement.
The attack fueled the East-West coast conflict already brewing between Shakur and Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. Shakur and Wallace were killed in 1996 and 1997, respectively, and the crimes are still unsolved.
New York police said they will investigate the inmate’s claim.
Wow. If your don’t re-call the shooting prior to the Tupac death involved the shooting of Tupac in a studio in NY where Tupac swore that it was Bad Boy related , which triggered the East vs. . West battle. It’s been over 20 years with no development in the case and now the world is one step closer to finding out, “WHO SHOT YA!” – Okay, okay that was corny. But maybe it will put to rest all the Tupac’s Alive rumors (which I believe/believed, I heard he’s in Jamaica).
Here I’ll leave you with a few of my classic but favorite Tupac songs! THUG LIFE !

Opps. lol.

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival included hundreds of artists in its 3-day-long celebration of all things artistically musical. Performers’ like ODDFUTURE , Wale , and Wiz hit the stage but there’s no comparison to the concerts headliner , Mr. Kanye West. As always he hit the stage and presented the audience with a 2-hour simple yet inspiring performance for the crowd. He told the crowd, This is the most important show to me since my mom passed,” West told fans. “As many times [as] I thought about not being here, you all make it worth it”, according to the NY Daily News.Kanye closed out the festival and even performed some of his most powerful songs like “Stronger” , “Lost in The World” ,”Power”, and “Hey Mama”. Check out the Los Angeles Times Review of West’s Performance and check out the flix below and YouTube videos of the performance.

Ever watched Rob Dydeck’s Fantasy Factory? The opening credits features some pretty visually stunning effects like his head exploding and turning into Rob with arms wide with his dog Meaty sitting on his shoulders then switching to Rob skate boarding down a sidewalk and into the mouth of a lion THENN the lion is located on his scooter which is is riding located on an elevated platform …. and I can go on and go on. Point is the transformations and visual effects going on are bananas. This is the work of LA -Based visual arts studio , SYNDROME STUDIOS has been in action for almost ten years and they have shown us the limitless possibilities of live-action directing – a great alternative to the boring non-relative music videos of today.
I first came across one of their videos while watching “Chopped and Screwed” with T-Pain and Ludacris. The song is pretty good but the video is amazing and its incredible to think how it was directed and literally put together entirely though green screen and computer design. I personally love music videos and how they represent a song and bring it (or in many cases don’t) to life.
Am I the only one who would listen to videos and visually make their own music videos? Well even I couldn’t think up of what the geniuses at Syndrome Studios create. Check out a few videos and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Enjoy.

Whoa ! So nobody would have expected this. Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have been quite an item for sometime now. Both of them have tattoos, but of course what Amber lacks in tats Wiz makes up for with full body ink.
He recently was spotted with a “Amb” name written near his thumb in cursive.
Could this be? Could Wiz have sealed his affection with ink? Either way he’s an idiot. But you be the judge!
