Wow. Years in the making, from his failed attempt with the brand Pastelle to his collaborations with Nike with the Air Yeezy, Louis Vuitton and his footwear collection, and his George Condo scarf collection – talk of a Kanye West line has been up in the air for years.

Today Kanye saw that dream become a reality for Paris Fashion Week among a very private and elite Kanye West directed runway show. Those who attended the show inlcuded Ciara, Anna Wintour, Jared Leto, Terry Richardson, Lindsay Lohan, The Olsen twins, Olivier Theyskens, Silvia Fendi, Alexander Wang, Carine Roitfeld, Jeremy Scott and more. Apparently only 100 invites were sent. The line naked “Dw” stands for his late mothers name Donna West.

The show was set to stream live on Fashion NOW but it didn’t work unfortunately , but they did deliver a fresh set of pictures from the show. The collections features low V neck cuts, neutral tones , and intricate beading and wavy layers. Working with British knitwear designer Louise Goldin and the head of the Central St. Martin’s Fashion Institute graduate school, Louise Wilson he also got help from fashion design students.
