This Saturday, November 24th, the day after BLACK FRIDAY, come out to Wood Tavern for a super chill, all day musical festival. BKMIA is the brainchild of Max Pierre at AE-Collective- a New Yorknative who lives in and loves Miami- bringing together on one stage the emerging musical talent of both Miami and Brooklyn. This will happen twice a year, and the next stop is BK in the summer time, so watch for that too!
The lineup is crazy- the varied styles of Spaceghost Purrp, Metro Zu, Deaf Poets, Steven A Clark, Kool AD from Das Racist and Ninjasonik will be balanced by the super talented DJ’s Haitian Hillbilly, Lolo Reskin (of Sweat Records), Keen, Chris Oh, Ideal, Artime and Iron Lyon.
Starting at 2 pm, come vibe and drink a beer (it’s 21+ sorry kids) until the end around 10 pm. Bring a light jacket, a marker for the wooden picnic tables and a positive atitude after giving thanks Thursday and shopping like a maniac Friday.

Jeremy Scott has recently collaborated with New Era to bring the world his always amazing rendition of Urban influenced high-end fashion. I adore Jeremy Scott. The caps feature animal prints and textures along with gold accents, fringes, and detailing. Amazing and amazing.
Also his latest Ready To Wear collection for Spring 2013 debuted during New York fashion week recently. Literally, Im speechless. I need money and lots of it. I definitely am taking a few fashion cues from the collection and making my own rendition of the collection with my own pieces. The show was titled “ARAB SPRING”, definitely taking inspirations from Arabic culture with makeshift veils and certain inspirational accenting. Also features the same animals prints, textures, and gold accents as the NEW ERA collaboration. A Lot of black, gold, and teal colors mixed with sportily silhouettes. I. am. in. love. Take notes people!
