A few weeks ago two of our friends up north (in Naples, Fl to be exact) Jessica and Joyce Gayo ( along with a very talented camera crew, thanks Bass and Colin! ) interviewed us for the first installment of their new series “Dollface.” We got a chance to talk about our personal style, some local brands we love, what we’re up to and our goals for the future. What I really like about the segment is that it’s not just about girls who are fashionable or have a nice look, it’s about girls who are actively pursuing their dreams and goals. If you are an avid 2DOPEBITCHES reader, you’ll know that that’s what we are all about. It’s a great thing to speak with other positive women doing what they love.
Please take a second to check out the lovely twin sisters’ newly launched website- Visage De Poupée- which actually means “Dollface” in French. They will be continuing their witty video series along with writing about fashion, local artists, and anything they are inspired by. Considering their fashion sense alone, you can expect great things from these two. Stay tuned !

Très bien, jolies filles !
Its done and over with. Our first event. We dreamed. We planned. We executed. And its done. It was a success and a learning experience. We’re glad to be able to deliver a unique experience during Art Basel like no other. Thanks to all the people who made this event happen, as it started from nothing. We were just two girls with an idea and seeing it come into fruition was mind-blowing.
We want to give a larger than life thank you to everyone who made TRAP PARADISE possible!:

Erika, Me and Autumn
This past weekend, June 2nd and 3rd was the 5th annual Roots Picnic in Philly and I, Aja was lucky enough to head up North for the event. I got to hang out with my sister Autumn which like, never happens, so that was a great change. I would like to just say thanks to everyone who made this possible- Especially Mark and Gianni for giving me, Autumn and my friend Erika a free place to stay.
There were standout performances: Rakim performed ALL of Paid in Full. The Roots of course played Saturday night along with De Le Soul and Wale and also Sunday night with Rakim. When word that Kid Cudi wasn’t coming for the headline show they brought out Freeway. That was cool, but my favorite part of the performances were dring the daylight. I snapped a couple pictures of my favorite performances- favorites like Major Lazer, Diplo, Danny Brown , Starslinger and Mr. MF’n eXquire of course were dope. Bands I wasn’t familiar with such as Quadron, Shabazz Palaces and Tune-Yards blew me away. Gianni Lee and Dj Diamond Kuts were dope DJ’s throughout the weekend.
There were so many cool, stylish people around and honestly one of the best parts of my trip was just getting to know more people. Everyone was so damn nice! Philly really is a dope city- I got to see a little bit of it during the day- only bad thing is how early everything ends! Im in Miami people! I’m used to stuff starting at 1 am, but other than that I had a dope ass time. Can’t wait for the Mad Decent Block Party !
Check out the slideshow for the flicks of the weekend !

Our good friend Gianni Lee has been making waves in the fashion world for a while now with his dope brand- Babylon Cartel- which is definitely worth checking out. But he is no simple man. Aside from fashion he does graphic design, throws crazy parties (with Maddecent no less) and is a pretty great DJ. He’s been putting together mixes- not just songs he likes- he’s been curating a sound- Trill wave.
Trill Wave is a mash-up musical style that encompasses gangsta rap, chopped and screwed, dub step, Philly dance, EDM and everything in between. His mixes include the likes of A$AP Rocky and Space Ghost Purrp and features new-comers like Ryshon Jones, Flatbush Zombies and Paris Artelli.
The Trill Wave mixtape was a collaborative effort between Gianni and Panda Reemy of ANMLHSE, another dope ass clothing brand out of Philly. Check them out as well. With these two musical dudes’ minds at work they selected the trillest music, then compiled it, created the cover art and brought you something no one else has!
Listen to his Trill Wave and Trill Wave DEUX mini mixes below and download the mixtape if you love it like we do.
Follow Gianni @GianniLee and Reemy @GRLSLOVETHECRLS on Twitter so you know when the next mixtapes and parties drop. Hopefully there will be a party in Miami soon !

Coming to our sunny city October 23 is the talented dope duo, THE COOL KIDS brought to you by Bread and Butter Shows. These two cats Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks are from the Windy City and D-Town and have done tracks with Chip Tha Ripper, Lil Wayne , Travis Barker, Asher Roth just to name a few. Now with a new album out named “When Fish Ride Bicycles” , these two guys are going to show Miami what they are made of at Eve in Downtown Miami.
Making their debut at a time when the sneaker head “hypebeast” scene was at its peak, songs like “Mikey Rocks” , “Black Mags” and “Flossin” were instant classics among the scene.
Haven’t seen these guys perform live, but I’m sure their energy and the nostalgic songs from my past (along with some new tunes) will definitely have the place packed and poppin. Our girl Ashley Outrageous along with her team at Bread and Butter are putting together the show so expect a sold out show. Im serious , this place gets packed easy. Oh wait and did I mention the fly Jasmine Solano will be on the 1′s and 2′s? Yup.
All you have to do is answer these simple questions about the rap duo. Might seem simple but if your a fan they should come easy!
1. What are both the stage names AND real names of the group members from The Cool Kids?
2. Where are the group members from exactly?
Answer in the comments section with your E-Mail addy to enter ! The winners will be announced the day before the show! We want to give everyone a chance!

This past Wednesday your favorite 2 Dope Bitches hosted the first of many dope events in Miami Beach at Soles Inc, one of the premiere sneaker stores in South Beach!
The event was a Spring Break Release party for a collaborative T-Shirt design by the Philly clothing companies Babylon Cartel and ANMLHSE. Check them out- they are certainly the ones to watch for!
So, nothing is ever truly perfect and our event was no exception to that rule. That being said, the night went really well with some of Miami’s (and Philly, Ohio, Maryland, DC and who knows where else’s) most amazing people who came through to show love. DJ Ollie J, as always, was spinning the soundtrack to a great crowd, rocking the really dope shirt he designed with Sole’s owner Adam Bishop. Check out the website for Soles Inc. to stay up to date on what’s hot in the world of kicks and check out the blog while you’re at it!
This was the first thing Norma and I have ever hosted so of course we were worried about turn-out, issues and anything that could have gone wrong but this really was a success. The crowd was mixed and so many different, awesome artists and individuals really made this event. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who supported the cause that night!
And, it being a fashion event held at a sneaker store, the shoe-game of our guests was CRAZY. We are going to do a post just on the shoes of the night. So Kudos to you guys
Check out the illustrious MOMMYWARBUCKS for her coverage of the night (amazing photographer, btw).
The cool guys from truefxckinstory stopped by as well as the HotDamn! crew, the crazy dudes of Metro Zu, our boy Customz from Draw Away The Fat , Phil from Lavish Exposure and Dre from MIA Skateshop! We also made new friends with the stylish guys over at The Urban Relaxation. The amount of love shown Wednesday is just incredible.
And did I mention that this dude washed my car?? That’s right. I parked my car in front of Soles Inc and random guys were leaning on it so I went to them and asked them to watch the car for me (cause I knew if I asked them to get off they would get back on as soon as I went inside the store). Well this bamma was drunk and must have heard “wash the car” and I made him pinky promise to “watch it” and next thing I know, he’s outside with a bucket and some newspaper. Score.
We will be invading your to-do list with more events so stay tuned!
Now for the fun part, the pictures!! Peep them on the next page!!
