A few weeks ago two of our friends up north (in Naples, Fl to be exact) Jessica and Joyce Gayo ( along with a very talented camera crew, thanks Bass and Colin! ) interviewed us for the first installment of their new series “Dollface.” We got a chance to talk about our personal style, some local brands we love, what we’re up to and our goals for the future. What I really like about the segment is that it’s not just about girls who are fashionable or have a nice look, it’s about girls who are actively pursuing their dreams and goals. If you are an avid 2DOPEBITCHES reader, you’ll know that that’s what we are all about. It’s a great thing to speak with other positive women doing what they love.
Please take a second to check out the lovely twin sisters’ newly launched website- Visage De Poupée- which actually means “Dollface” in French. They will be continuing their witty video series along with writing about fashion, local artists, and anything they are inspired by. Considering their fashion sense alone, you can expect great things from these two. Stay tuned !

Très bien, jolies filles !
Its done and over with. Our first event. We dreamed. We planned. We executed. And its done. It was a success and a learning experience. We’re glad to be able to deliver a unique experience during Art Basel like no other. Thanks to all the people who made this event happen, as it started from nothing. We were just two girls with an idea and seeing it come into fruition was mind-blowing.
We want to give a larger than life thank you to everyone who made TRAP PARADISE possible!:

Leighton Pope from Crosby Press turned out this turnt up ass recap:
Miami’s superstar director UNKLELUC manifested these incredible trippy visuals:
Our very own Miami Trap Ambassador Miami Marci decided to capture the essence of the party though a mix he titled “TRAP PARADISE STORIES” – he really is not playing around on this one. Honestly, its an automatic turn up mix so if your not prepared it can be messy. Click on the album covers for an automatic download or stream it from the Soundcloud below:

So, this past week in Miami was all Art Basel this and Parisian pop up club that. But last week? Oh last week was special in a more homegrown way- the homies over at Fastlife Clothing, Vintage Stereon and YBG put on a show that, well, put on for the city- the Westside to be exact.
WESTSIDE PLAGUE- presented by Daily Cheifers, Womazing, Jahrue, and IMF Mag, went down with free shots/drinks for the ladies and each clothing sponsor/affiliate had their own room to showcase their designs however they saw fit. The Talent Farm actually is pretty dope- the vibe was that of a huge house party, just with a big stage and a DJ.
With performances by YNG, Quest, Da Camp, W$E, GMFB and Spaceghost Purrp and the Raider Klan , there was no shortage of hometeam love. The music was on point all night, with sounds provided by DJ A.N.D. oh and not to mention the whole shindig was hosted by us Dope Bitches! We challenged the sneaker savvy audience to some Jordan V trivia in order to win free clothes.. and who won? A girl. Yes that’s right, we rule.
We were certainly a little far from our Miami-Dade home all the way in Broward, but we made the trip and helped make it a good night. Norma sported some avant garde Indian jewelry while I rocked a BAD snakeskin strap back by our friends at Bad Bunch NYC (Check out their store HERE!)
Our beautiful friend Daniela was there with us, capturing the night from on and off the stage. Check out the photos of the night below!
Brown Bag Wednesdays is the dope weekly showcase for national hip hop talent and underground acts alike taking place at The Green Room in Ft. Lauderdale. This Wednesday, Sept 12, one half of the Cool Kids, Sir Michael Rocks will be gracing the stage. Never one to disappoint, the night also features amazing art and this week it will feature fashion as well.
Not just any fashion, by the way, but the first showcase ever of THE COLLECTION ! Yes, what better way for us to unveil THE COLLECTION to our readers than in person during Sir Michael Rocks’ solo show?? The man is a pretty fashionable dude ! Sir Michael Rocks is a favorite at 2dopebitches.com- his smooth and witty flow and dope beat selections keep him in our iPods and playlists. If you aren’t familiar I suggest you peep his videos below ! With Quest and Gabe Feilds and Just Dimy hosting you know it will be a fun night !

We will have not only a table with our vintage, one-of-a-kind and hand made pieces, but also INTERACTIVE DISPLAYS AND A LIVE MODEL. And not some prissy/boring model either- we are lucky enough to feature Andrea, one of the original models from SHOPTHECOLLECTION.NET, with us for the night. Come out, enjoy some dope music, meet some cool people and shop
Check out a couple videos of Sir Michael Rocks if you aren’t familiar (and even if you are!) and don’t forget to peep THE COLLECTION’s teaser video ! We have so much to bring to you guys, we really put our hearts and souls into this collection !
A couple months back your favorite dope bitches took part in a photo shoot in Miami’s Design District for Wordintown.com. It was a super hot day and the SPF was definitely on deck and we posed in the sun. We were styled by the talented Andrea who used her own accessories with our wardrobe and handmade jewelry for a couple dope looks. After much deliberating and a written interview, here is the final product! We are really happy with the way the photos came out- the distinctive Miami backdrop really set things off. The interview gives some insight into who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going. Check it out ! Thanks to Jose at Wordintown and Dro of The305.com !!
All it takes is one lazy Google search to realize that if you missed this, you missed a monumental moment in time for DC, “don’t put me in a box” multi-music-genre loving kids and well, music in general. The festival that lasted over 12 hours on a warm and partly cloudy day last Saturday was a testament to what a few young people can really pull off with the right tools and passion. DCtoBC , the 3-person collective (who are from the Nation’s Capital and went to Boston College,) really did throw one of the best music festivals to date. I mean, there was a slew of local artists, some nationally known and some up and comers who definitely kept the crowd entertained, live art, awesome food trucks (and a CUPCAKE TRUCK!!) and not one damn fight. Everyone was in a neo-hippie state of mind- the electro people and the hip-hop people not being so different.
I managed to snap a few pictures of the performances, the talent just chilling and a few cool people along the way. I regret to inform you that I didn’t (well forgot) to get a Trillectro flavored cup cake but I did do a front flip on the moon bounce- that counts for something right?
Anyways, take a look at my photos below and check out the 2dopebitches full Facebook album for more flicks !
Oh, I wore my grill that, along with Norma’s gold fangs, ave become the beacon of 2dopebitches.com and I swear I grilled and showed off my crazy nail art possibly all weekend. No complaints though !
Oh, by the way, this dude with a FEATHER DUSTER was straight up getting down to Beyond Modern’s set:

Enjoy and check back often for the full spread!
