Rye Rye has been on our radar for over 2 years now and ever since she burst on the scene way back under one of her mentors arms, M.I.A. - you know she was destinited to create something unique. She’s loud, colorful, a crazy talented dancer, and most of all focused as shes been hustlin’ hard on a crazy promotional tour for months. She’s got style and talent and definitely is bringing a new sound to the scene. Signed to M.I.A.’s record label N.E.E.T., this Baltimore star reps her city hard.

After all her hard work her debut album is FINALLY coming out May 15, titled GO! POP! BANG! and its long overdue. If you never heard a Rye Rye song ever you should definitely start with her track “Sunshine” Feat. M.I.A or even “BANG“. She’s done a lot of work with our buddy Diplo and even has a role in the new movie 21 Jumpstreet?! Her newest single “BOOM BOOM” is crazy. She was even in our town this year for Winter Music Conference, WHERE THE HELL WERE WE AND WHY DIDN’T WE KNOW ABOUT IT? But we had the pleasure of catching her last WMC at Transit Lounge so we are coping with the loss.
