OK, I know Halloween is not exactly “around the corner”; it’s barely July. BUT, I have already been thinking about my next costume. I love Halloween- I think I have more fun dressing up than little kids. I hav a few ideas in my head about what , rather who I’ll be this year. Since I have so much time, I can thoroughly plan out my costume, order things offline if necessary and make sure my hair suits my character.

Here are my current options:

GoGo from Kill BIll

GoGo is crazy-she’s the insane, 17 year old body guard of the Yakuza crime Boss O’ren Ishii from the Quentin Terrantino movie.  I love her hair (currently I’m rocking that style anyway) and I would get to carry around a weapon- either her mase (not Ma$e) or her cute dagger. Dope.

Chun Li from Street Fighter

Chun Li has been an option ever since I decided to wear my hair in pigtail buns. Seems like a fun choice.

I am such a nerd for this.

 

Mia from Pulp Fiction

A classic character from a classic movie of my generation. Mia Wallace, wife of Marcellus and notorious “oops I thought that was coke” heroine OD’er. I wouldn’t really have much to do with this character besides look cool. But I like it.

Storm from The X-Men

OK so it seems that Storm may be the best choice here. She is black ( so that’s easy for me), she has white hair ( my favorite hair color ) and she doesn’t need weapons or money like the chick above- she can control stuff. The weather- lighting, thunder, wind and uhh storms are in her grasp. That’s pretty dope. Downside is I wouldn’t have a cool weapon to walk around with… Decisions decisions.

Last year I was Little Alex from A Clockwork Orange, which was super fun. I had comfortbale clothes and shoes on AND I had a cane so best believe I was annoying everyone in sight with that thing.
