Recap: Slick Rick @ EVE 9/24 Photos

The ruler himself, Slick Rick, graced EVE’s stage for about 10 minutes September 24 and he performed the classics. Only thing I have to say is, why was your hand in your pocket Ricky?? Other than that, he was shining on fools, had diamond encrusted EVERYTHING, including the signature eye patch. His watch was the size of a small plate- just sayin’

Dynas laid it down right before Slick Rick, bringing back distant rap memories for some. Your Mom’s Favorite is a pretty dope band and I’m glad we got to see them perform! It’s nice to see a band with actual instruments play a Hip-Hop show. Metro Zu and O’Grime did their thing as usual, with crazy clothes, crazy antics and of course, a Taco Bell 12-pack box for that Taco Bell Swag…
