Apparently I’m a bit late but the buzz around town is that this musical crooner, The Weeknd, is the bee’s knees. I’ve been listening to his album House of Balloons and I am hooked. The low-fi  and chilled out music seems like the perfect thing to play with the volume low when chilling with that special person- it’s laid back and sexy but also rough around the edges. I’ve heard the F-bomb dropped quite a few times and I don’t mind. This youngster is from Toronto and has been supported in the media by fellow T.dot representer Drake

The Weeknd’s House of Balloons is easily one of the most surprising releases thus far. With his unique lo-fi R&B touch, the Toronto native manages to capture the ears around the globe. Now, DJ OG Ron C dedicates the latest installment of the ‘Chopped Not Slopped’ mixtape series to the Balloon House. Definitely a successful remix project.
