This past weekend we moseyed on over to our girl Ariella’s house to celebrate the birthday of a dope ass dude by the name of Kendrick. He is pretty fresh- check him out in a sharp blazer with no shirt underneath a la Kanye West in the pictures! Ariella always throws the best backyard parties and this one was no exception! There was LOTS of pizza, dranks, trill music and keg stands galore !

Check out the madness below and be sure to head over to our Facebook page for the full album !

Oh and don’t sleep- she IS wearing Jeremy Scott, fly as ever with her 5 cups!

This past March 2nd the DJ duo known as The Hood Internet played an epic set at Miami Beach’s Mansion Nightclub. Your favorite 2 Dope Bitches we in attendance along with the AE Collective. The night was great, albeit a little bit stressful for us at first, just trying to make sure everything was peachy and everyone was taken care of. The music was on point, perfect mash-ups to jam to and dance to. Not to mention we were celebrating the birth of one of the coolest guys on earth, Horatio Hope, so the vibe was on point! We even snuck in a red velvet white chocolate cupcake and sort of lit a candle on it.

He loved it, check the pictures below for proof.

Kid Sister recently performed at Miami’s own Grand Central in Downtown. This was one of the show that we were super excited about- we love us some Kid Sis!

We showed up at Grand Central to a surprisingly sparse crowd around 12. However, as the free Absolut Miami Edition drinks were passed around the crowd began to thicken and Riff Raff hit the stage around 2 am. Shortly after throwing rice on the crowd for God-only-know-what-reason, Kid Sister hopped on stage and they performed their single “Hide and Seek” for the die-hard fans who waited hours and tweeted relentlessly until the music started.

Riff Raff growing rice (why?)

The show, albeit late to start, was a great one (no one really complained with the pretty girls were passing out free drinks !) Riff Raff got the crowd hyped and ready for Kid Sister to grace the stage. She tore it down, juking, dipping low and even having her DJ join in on the Chi-town dance. She shouted out her city – Chicago if you aint know!- and even posed for the cameras.

You know we here at 2dopebitches.com are all about fashion and even gave away tickets to this show fo the most stylish girl and guy we could see on Facebook, so we have to comment on the fashion of the night. Kid Sister was wearing a really pretty black chiffon long sleeve top with white collar and cuffs and Silver collar tips. She kept her outfit simple with skinny black jeans, black lace up boots and a black leather and gold Moschino belt. And of course her nails were on point- colorful and glittery as ever. Riff Raff was wearing maybe every color of the rainbow along with an “ICEE” chain full of diamonds. Can’t really hate, he is doing his own thing!

Be sure to check out our

Facebook page for all the pics of the night!

This past Thursday, Aja and I had the honor to support our girl JAHNEEN a.k.a Mommy Warbucks at her event dubbed SCREWED UP. I’ve gotta say, the fact this event was titled SCREWED UP already made it dope even before the date. The theme included chopped and screwed music, purple drank complete with styrofoam cups, and lots of great company. Our boys Sean Bang and JUSTDIMY were on the 1′s and 2′s and lets just say the music was so good we said we were leaving about 5 times before we actually left, every song they played just made us stay longer!

We arrived when Steven A. Clark took the stage and I’ve got to say, I’m beyond impressed. I have met and promoted events in which Steven was performing at but never got to catch him in action. This time around, I literally walked in and thought they were playing a new Kid Cudi song. It wasnt even that he sounds like Cudi, it was just the over all composure and professionalism of his sound and voice were of the highest quality and his singing style and production is a dark but sweet kind of style. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more of him. He won The305.com’s Album of the Year by an Independent Artist 2011 for his project titled “Stripes” listen to it below, definitely worth the download.

Also performing was J.NICS, which really got the crowd going. Great humble guy with a healthy Miami following and not to mention a great southern sound. It was also my first time seeing him perform and its no wonder he’s performing all around town, he’s a talented man! Check out his new video “From The South” below – that shit go hard!

Overall, I had a blast with our friends Jennesy, the Silent Hand crew, Ms. Warbucks, and more. Always a good time out with the crew and definitely looking forward to more events like this. Check out our pictures below and head over to the SilentHand’s Facebook for more photos (they were on their job that night with the flix, we were having too much fun LOL)

Ms. Warbucks Herself.

Jennesy’s reaction to the triple overtime by the Miami Heat. LOL.

Last night Diplo brought Moombahton and dub step to the club goers of LIV nightclub and of course we were there to document the night. DJ’s Jessica Who, Ross One and Contra were there spinning as well. It was a pretty dope night- I met some new friends Bando and Addy (they’re doing big things!) , got to hang with the girls Eva (gorgeous girl in the pics with me) and Erica ( I don’t know how she escaped the photos), danced on the couches. Check the pictures below and also peep them on our Facebook page so you can tag yourself if you’re in them!

Be sure to watch our interview/hang session with this crazy motherfucker himself!

This past Sunday the rap duo known of Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks a.k.a. The Cool Kids graced the stage at Miami’s own EVE event space in downtown. The night was started by a couple dope opening acts, and had DJ Jasmine Solano on the 1′s and 2′s.

The dudes were as stylish as ever, with Chuck in some Jordans and a buket hat while Mikey rocked some Hermés pants and Gourmet sneakers. Not to mention, us 2 dope bitches were wearing some cool stuff !- Norma had the Jordans on lock that night too with a bandana and a septum peircing while Aja had on a Stray Rats tee and some classic black and white Nike SB Blazers. Ashley Outrageous, 1/2 of Bread and Butter Shows (who threw the show) had on the ill green Pumas. Our boy Customs had on the tan Air Yeezy’s too.

All fashion talk aside, The Cool Kids did their thing, dancing and cooking onstage, keeping the crowd crazy. The after party was held at Purdy Lounge in South Beach, but what happens there stays there! We only grabbed pictures from the performance!

Peep some pictures below and don’t forget to check out our Facebook page for the rest!!

I almost stayed in the house last Sunday, feeling lazy which is nothing new to me. But luckily my boyfriend got me out of the house and even told me to (gasp) even take my dog Sir with me to the Wynwood Art Fair. I’m SO happy I did, since I got to catch the wonderfully magical FriendsWithYou parade, full of sparkles, bubbles, and of course people in puffy colorful costumes. Additionally, we got to sample the FWY “Sweet Dreams” treats- cupcakes and little balls of cake on a stick were awesome (my cupcake was filled too!)

The exhibit done by Freegums was fun. I did a little post showing a little about it, check it out!

Needless to say, I got some cool snapshots and my doggy met a few new friends, but some big dogs and found his girlfriend.

CHECK OUT ALL OF THE PICTURES TAKEN AT THE FAIR ON THE 2DB FACEBOOK PAGE!

This past Saturday the Swedish electro band Little Dragon performed at Miami’s Grand Central in Downtown. The set was so much fun, with lead singer Yukimi dancing all over the stage under a great light show. The band played fan favorites such as “Feather” and “After The Rain” while also playing songs from their newest album, Ritual Union , such as “Brush The Heat” and “little Man.” Devoted fans sang along and someone even threw flowers onto the stage.

I noticed while watching the band play drums of all sorts, the bass, a two pianos that there is not guitarist. So, as seen on Miami New Times, Yukimi explains, “None of us plays guitar very well, so that’s one reason. I guess we just feel like there are so many guitar bands out there. And we haven’t felt inspired to have any guitars on any songs.”

Check out some stylish audience members, feathered hats,

dope Jeffrey Campbell shoes, dope bitches (not just us!) and Little Dragon!

Check out Duran Blu, dope girl band, above!

Dope nails !
